Visit Hiroshima Castle & Shukkeien Garden on foot and feel the city vibration on the way
Hiroshima Castle was built on a delta at the mouth of the Ota River in 1589, and Shukkeien Garden was made near the castle in 1620. Why was the castle built near the sea? What was it like to live in a castle town in the Edo period? And what followed in the modern times? The tour first takes you to the castle and then the garden. Both were devastated by the atomic bombing but reconstructed after the war. All HOT members work for this tour. The guide profile has not yet been updated.
