Cabbage patch looks good!

November 1st, 2012 | Posted by hot in Shimanami1 - (Comments Off)

This sprawling cabbage patch is at the bottom of Mt. Shirataki. Even cabbages can be a feast for the eyes while you are on a trail. Nearby stands Shirataki Sanso, which once belonged to a foreign missionary as the residence and now is a restaurant/lodge. The lunch here is a bliss.  posted by jasmine

Cats in Ikuchi-jima

They are always around here near an imposing old residence. The house is impressive to see and what’s more it comes with cats sitting or lying near it. So peaceful. Time slows down on the island. posted by jasmine

See a dragon with your inner eyes

November 1st, 2012 | Posted by hot in Shimanami3C - (Comments Off)

This is the Tatara Grand Bridge and the sky a dragon soars. As I’ve written in former articles, you can get to hear the dragon for the first time in your life if you come to the bridge. Look up and see it to yourself. posted by jasmine
