Young backpackers enjoyed “temple” so much.

Two Americans and one British who were staying at the same
backpackers hostel attended the walking tour in October.

With blue sky in the back Great Torii Gate looked really beautiful.
After visiting Itsukushima Shrine, we walked up the small hill and about
100 stone stairs to get to a spacious Temple compound.
These small Budhism stone statues are called 500 disciples of Budha.
Every statue has a different facial expression and looks so lovely.
This temple is so generous that it allows visitors to get into
almost all the facilities and sutra chanting halls.
The scenery seen from the second floor of the Hall is so fantastic!
You can see deep green virgin forests of Mt. Misen.

They also enjoyed taking a picture of Five storied pagoda.
